Ultraviolet LEDs at last can substitute 100W Mercury lamp

Before now Hg lamps were widely used as a UV-light source, for various applications. Numerous GaN-GaAlN light emmiting diodes were a conveinent substitute for either 365, or 254, or 312 nm wavelengths. We have combined emitters with different bandgap in one device, and got all three frequencies - one by one, or in any combinations.

Togeter with spectral-selective bandpass optical filters, this gives almost an ideal substitute to 100W mercury lamp. With LED's compactness, high quantum efficiency, low heat , reliability and all circuits and power supplies (drivers) build-in!  It also does not requre any warm-up time to wait for full power.

The above mentioned "three-head dragon" (254+312+365 nm)  can be used with our table -top darkroom for various applications.

Eyes of the user are protected by build-in glass filter.
