Anaerosat
The anaerostat device is a glass cylindrical capacity with hermetic lid, having a pressure\vacuum gauge and a pipe connector on top side. It allows to substitute natural air (atmospheric components) with a modifyed gas for growing special types of bacteria in non-oxygen media. This is performed by vacuum - substitute method, or by using special gas- generating packs. The Petri dishes with cultural media are placed into a special holder as a stack (one over another), and then insreted into the anaerostat.
Glass cylindric capacity with plastic base; Firm hermetic lid with silicone gasket; Vacuum\Pressure gauge mounted at the upper lid with pipe connector; Special holder for inserting up to 10 pc of Petri dishes with samples inside the anaerostat.
Useable internal volume about 3 L
Pressure resistance from 0.05 to 1.5 bar
Cylinder accomodates up to 10 Petri dishes, with 90 mm diameter
Minimal vacuum 0.005 bar
Height , not over 600 mm
Weight not over 2.5 kg
Growth of anerobes in modifyed gas atmosphere , with low oxygen content, or zero oxygen.
